Ferretti Riva 63 Vertigo


Ferretti group unveiled the Riva 63 Vertigo at the 2008 Miami International Boat show. The Riva 63 Vertigo features twin MAN-V12s that generate a cruising speed of 35 knots and a maximum 40 knots at one third displacement.

Designed to optimize the space available and guarantee total comfort, this new open features a number of highly innovative solutions, beginning with the comfortable sofa running on two tracks towards the table to its left, transforming the cockpit into an elegant outdoor salon. The central command position features last generation navigation instruments and the command seat – an example of the latest technology recalling the Rivarama seat – can transform from one to three positions in just a few seconds. The interiors have also been designed to guarantee maximum space and comfort.

This new Riva cadet, set between the 52’ Rivale and 68’ Ego, is the largest craft currently being produced in the Sarnico shipyard. She has two MAN 12 valve engines producing1360 Mhp, guaranteeing - as ever – an excellent performance – speeds of up to 38.5 knots and a range of 250 nm at cruising speed.

Red Dragon


Alloy Yachts have launched Red Dragon the fourth superyacht over 50m built by Alloy Yachts. Red Dragon has a beam of 10.2m (33.5ft), draws 4.9m (16.1ft) and a displacement of 354 tonnes reports synfo.


The Wilmotte & Associates designed interior has a large saloon with formal dining area for up to 10 guests. The style includes a light contemporary timber interior.

The topsides are finished in anthracite grey with a white superstructure.

Guest accommodation provides for an Owner’s suite and three guest suites. Also included is a separate gymnasium with Pullman berth and en-suite.
Forward, the crew layout has five cabins all with en-suites for up to 10 crew.

70 WallyPower Lau Lau


Wally Yachts unveiled the new 70 WallyPower Lau Lau at the Monaco Yacht Show.

On deck, this 70 footer (21 meter) motor yacht features three different social areas.
The salon under the glass superstructure which acts as an inside-outside living area and is unusually large for this size of boat, the forward cockpit and the aft cockpit.
All these social areas have large dining tables: as a result, Lau Lau comfortably seats more than 20 people for formal dining!

The accommodation features the owner’s suite forward, a double guest cabin and a large galley, plus the double crew cabin. All cabins have en-suites.

The propulsion system consists of two MTU diesel engines generating 3,000 Hp driving KaMeWa water-jets, providing a max speed of 40 knots.

75m Motor Yacht by Humpreys Yacht Design


Humpreys Yacht Design has unveiled a concept for a 75m Motor Yacht concept developed for Devonport Yacht.

Humphreys 75 incorporates a fully glazed atrium spanning the entire width of the yacht, providing a heating/cooling system. Surrounded by automatically operated louvers, solar exposure into the atrium space is optimized to allow the sun's rays to enter the yacht in cool climates, trapping the heat behind thermally efficient glass.

Ferretti 630 'anti-seasickness' yacht




Ferretti 630
yacht is being touted as the world's first anti-seasickness yacht. According to luxist.com, Ferretti's 630 features "Anti-Rolling Gyro" stabilizing technology that minimizes side-to-side rocking. The Ferretti 630 features a steel and aluminum motorized 154-pound gyroscope at the bottom of the hull.
