Aesop Gift Kits

Aesop’s fascination with the arts has this year inspired a series of seasonal gift kits focused on the Italian Futurist movement of the early twentieth century. The six gift kits are presented in sleek, elegant tin boxes, featuring titles and designs that pay homage to ground-breaking Futurist language, art and typography. The contents vary from a convenient set of men’s grooming essentials to a comprehensive hand and body care ensemble, to a trio of full-sized products from Aesop’s anti-oxidant Parsley Seed Skin Care range. An artfully constructed brochure that folds in various configurations accommodates and protects each product, and provides summary details on the movement and its guiding proponents.

The Macallan 62 Year Old in Lalique

The Macallan 62 Year Old in Lalique . ‘The Macallan in Lalique V: The Spiritual Home’. They say ‘home is where the heart is’ and that is certainly the case with this decanter inspired by Easter Elchies House on our Speyside Estate, and the penultimate in our collection. The precious whisky encased in beautifully engraved crystal is an exquisite and very rare 62 years old Macallan single malt whisky, sure to steal hearts.

Lalique’s Marc Larminaux interpreted the harled surface applied to the sandstone walls of Easter Elchies House by creating a textured frosted surface on three sides of the decanter. One of the frosted sides features the bold initials, JEG, replicating the initials which are incorporated in the original date stone. These initials belong to Captain John Grant, who oversaw the building of the Jacobean manor house in 1700.

Limited to only 400 individually numbered decanters, the Spiritual Home edition will be highly desired and eagerly anticipated. It is valued at USD$25,000 and available now from specialist whisky retailers.

Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4

Lamborghini has announced the Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4.

The new model has a 5.2 litre V-10 engine and  top speeds of over 320 km per hour.

The Wall Street Journal reported the Huracan has a carbon-fibre and aluminum chassis, and a new gasoline injection system that provides more power and torque with less fuel consumption.

Moncrief Trunk Trolley

It takes two weeks to hand craft this special piece.  The Trunk Trolley includes a hidden drawer compartment designed to fit a man's shirt, ladies cocktail dress, lingerie, jewellery and other treasures.  

The drawer is hand carved by a specialist cabinet maker and lined with a linen mix stain resistant Moncrief monogram lining (which can be fully zipped out for customs inspections).  In the drawer, hand carved horn slide buckles keep possessions securely fastened. 

In the top compartment, clothes are held in place by two leather flaps with magnets.  

The Trunk Trolley with Drawer is the only item in the Moncrief Collection which is larger than regulation airline sizes.
