Nokia has announced the Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte. The Carbon Arte, has panels of carbon fiber in its front and rear faces, along with titanium, stainless steel, and polished glass. The new model is priced at EUR1100 ($1600).

Swiss luxury designer and jeweler Knalihs Athem has recently created a diamond encrusted Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte. This exclusive limited edition phone is encrusted with more that 1000 finest quality brilliant cut diamonds that weigh 6.75 carats in total. Only 20 such handsets will be created worldwide. Each handset is accompanied by appropriate and official diamond grading report from a gemological lab.

In addition, the handset can also be personalized with name, initials, lucky number, logo and almost about anything of your choice.

Jeweler Thomas Heyerdahl has added his touch to the Nokia 8800 Arte. Thomas Heyerdahl adds 112 diamonds dotted all over, the Nokia 8800 Diamond. Only 100 numbered pieces will be available for sale. The Nokia 8800 Diamond features 3G capabilities, a 3.2 megapixel auto focus camera, and 1GB built-in memory space. The Nokia 8800 Diamond will be available in Heyerdahl's stores and selected Nokia outlets for $ 6,000.

The Nokia 8800 Arte and 8800 Sapphire Arte combine high-end metal and glass materials, for a modern look. The handsets feature a 2.0-inch QVGA OLED display, 3.2 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom, 1GB of built-in memory, MicroUSB all-in-one-connector, an anti-fingerprint coating on the metal and glass, and a leather pouch with linen-lining. The Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte enhances its polished steel case with a genuine sapphire gem stone and an accent of soft leather.
