Herman Miller have launched What Inspires You contest.
As an avid toy collector and designer, Charles Eames once said "Toys are not really as innocent as they look. Toys and games are preludes to serious ideas." Eames inspiration combined with Herman Miller innovation prompted this year's Select release: a collection of three wooden tops, each with an original sculptural profile, each crafted of exquisite walnut. Herman Miller is giving away a set of Select Walnut Spinning tops as part of their contest.
So Herman Miller wants to know, what inspires you? Do you have an office toy collection? A collection of classic lunch boxes in your kitchen? A crate of vintage vinyl 45s? Send a picture of your collection, include a one or two-sentence description with it, and email it to: tops@hermanmiller.com. Make sure to put "contest" in the subject line and send your submission before December 14th to be entered to win a set of the Herman Miller Select Walnut Spinning Tops.
