The Bulgari Resort, Bali
The Bulgari Resort, Bali, a secluded all villa cliffside retreat, will welcome guests in Spring 2006. Set on a 150-meter high plateau overlooking the Indian Ocean, the 59-villa resort is the second property by Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, following the successful 2004 opening of the Bulgari Hotel, Milano. Designed by architects Antonio Citterio & Partners, the Bulgari Resort, Bali is located on the southern tip of the Jimbaran Peninsula, close to the Temple of Uluwatu: an exclusive and intimate setting for guests seeking the ultimate in privacy and luxury. The resort will reflect the traditional Balinese architecture combined with a sophisticated contemporary design, using indigenous stones, native wood finishes and refined craft-made fabrics exclusively created for the Bulgari Resort. The 59 individual villas, freestanding and private, will include an open-air pavilion, terrace and private plunge pool, enjoying spectacular ocean views.
