Sanyo champagne gold rice cooker

Sanyo has announced the ECJ-V10, a new champagne gold rice cooker set for launch September 1, 2007.

The new IH pressure rice cooker series adopts high thermal conductive copper for the kettle. The nickname of the cooker is "Takumi Jyundou Odoridaki (Maestro's Pure Cooker Dancing and Boiling).

The kettle is made by rolling pure 1.5-mm thick cooper (the degree of purity is 99.9%) put between stainless steel and aluminum alloy, enabling to heat quickly and enhancing heat-retaining property. Die-cast aluminum is used for the frame of the body for the first time in the industry, according to the company. The frame is a flat single piece, so it is more sturdy and easier to clean up than the resin used in the former products.

German designer Karl Lagerfeld drew inspiration from '60s icon Edie Sedgwick for Chanel's Spring-Summer 2007 Haute Couture Collection in Paris on Tuesday.

As houses that produce haute couture continue to dwindle, Chanel is proving its commitment to preserving Haute Couture by buying up the embroiderers, featherers and shoemakers reports Reuters.

Among the featured artisans was Raymonde Pouzieux, who makes braids for Chanel's tweed suits on an ancient loom on her farm..

"My future is Chanel, the future of the other couture houses I don't really know," the German designer said after the show. "I only care what I'm doing. I'm not there to save the corporations. It's up to them to make an effort to save it

Glamorous, slim sequined gowns in metallic pink, burnished gold and gray , cloudlike skirts of see-through tulle , slim bodices made from tubes of organza that sprouted ostrich feathers at the sleeves and hem. Accessories included fingerless feather gloves and multiple rows of hoop earrings.

"This collection was ageless," said U.S. Vogue editor-at-large Andre Leon Talley. "It's for the 16-year-old girl, the woman who has a daughter who needs her first Chanel couture, and it's for the 60-year-old woman who is an executive who needs a beautiful tweed suit."

It will be interesting to see how Karl Lagerfeld's fascination with short , which serves girls like Sienna Miller & Lindsay Lohan , translate off the runway. An observation I have made with Chanel's Spring-Summer Pret-a-porter collection is that off the runway, even the it girls are wearing modified versions- where the major change is dress length.

At the end, a curtain drew back to reveal the massed Chanel workers: models, atelier staff, studio designers, and house ambassador Amanda Harlech, who all followed Lagerfeld out to share the applause reports Style.com.

For Fall-Winter 2007 . 2008, Derek Lam staples femininity and romanticism gave way to a sexy , chic and tougher Derek Lam Collection.

Inspired but the Frank Gehry building on the WestSide (NY), designer Derek Lam broke up the 80ish collection and mixed in asymmetrical pieces which echoed the Frank Gehry effect.

Lam searching for understanding in what a contemporary woman wants to reveal with her clothing, presented a strong silhouette with structured fabric. Lam says the structured fabric lends itself to revealing the body without being vulgar.

Derek Lam started things off with a pair of black leather-and-suede riding pants with a boxy, asymmetrical felt coat reports Style. com.

With designers in Milan and Paris cloning his super skinny silhouette , Dior Homme designer Hedi Slimane said goodbye to skinny, for a new silhouette. For Fall 2007. Winter 2008 Hedi Slimane sees the Dior Homme boy in dropped- crotch pants, and three-button jackets for a thin silhouette

"I changed the silhouette - tight at the top, but the sarouel pants," Slimane said backstage.

What ever you do for Fall 2007. Winter 2008 please say NO to sarouel pants.

As CATHY HORYN for NYT points out, Hedi Slimane's collection for Dior Homme moved neither forward nor backward, with Slimane still negotiating with Dior's parent company LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton for the renewal of his contract, this collection is an interesting side step, that should keep Dior Homme's new flock happy.

Hedi Slimane offered sleek and tailored coats ( there was geometric metallic stitching, and one with beads reports Style.com), paired with sweater sleeves covering wrist and hands.

Hedi Slimane refined his suit, shortening the leg and wearing them with Doc Martens styled shoes.

Refresh

If you are a regular at momist.com you have probably noticed some big changes, after a few weeks of going back and forth, I decided to empty the database and start again. I had over 26000 products listed but many of them were not categorized or tagged. I will be adding products daily with proper categories, reviews and tags, which will make it easier for you to find the luxury items you crave. I am hoping that the site picks up with influencers who will eventually be tagging, reviewing items and sharing personal images. The blog will now be focused on detailing changes, product additions & sales at momist.com. For luxury products launches visit frillr.com
