Matt & Nat have started samsāra (sam-sara.org), a new range of vegan & eco-friendly designer bags, that not only is produced with the environment and animal welfare in mind, but One Dollar from each bag is donated to charity - helping to affect change globally. Samsāra is a play on Sam & Sara, samsāra means rebirth in Sanskrit. The collection reflects Matt & Nat's signature aesthetic: pebbled textures with architectural detailing and bold styling in colors such as black, tomato, chocolate brown and plum. The patent collection makes a bolder statement with its polished finish and satin gold hardware. The collection is more affordable than Matt & Nat collection and includes a range of bags, wallets, clutches and belts. Prices range from $40-$140 USD. Project Runway judge Nina Garcia, has announced the winner of the Yaz Pill Pack design contest. Aspiring handbag designer Elayne Mayes of Green Village, New Jersey won. Elayne’s winning design will allow her to jumpstart her fashion design career with a $10,000 prize.
