Audi e-tron Spyder concept

Audi presents the Audi e-tron Spyder, the study of an open sports car, at the fall 2010’s largest auto show. The show car, with plug-in hybrid drive, is 4.06 meters (13.32 ft) long, 1.81 meters (5.94 ft) wide and only 1.11 meters (3.64 ft) high. The two-seater is equipped with a 221-kW (300-hp) twin-turbo V6 TDI at the rear axle and two electric motors producing a total of 64 kW at the front axle.

Lexus bicycle hybrid concept

Lexus has unveiled Hybrid Bicycle. A “design concept the captures the fundamental engineering and design values of the brand, but with two wheels rather than four.”

Power comes from the pedal of the rider increased by help of the front wheel with a 240W electric motor, kept running by a 25.9V lithium-ion battery.

Silence Amplified

Electrolux’ concept model “Silence Amplified”, a version of the recently released UltraSilencer which is the most silent vacuum cleaner ever made. The vacuum cleaner is as silent as a normal conversation. Due to its silent properties, UltraSilencer is fully compatible with music on a normal volume, a fact that Silence Amplified is fully derived from. The concept vac comes with integrated iPod-dock and integrated speakers.

Electrolux Rendez-vous

Electrolux Rendez-vous is the first interactive table that combines the living, eating, and entertaining space. The top of the table is a unique surface of energy that brings appliances to life without the use of a cable. The mobile phone or blender can be placed on the surface to charge or activate. The table top is also an inductive cooking system that uses sensor technology: cooking zones are not dedicated. Instead heat is dispensed wherever the pan is placed. Beneath the table are modular drawers that can hold a stove, refrigerator or almost any kitchen appliance that the consumer needs. Cooking becomes a social activity, with every thing you need all in one place. Programmed into the Rendez-vous is a virtual chef that guides the consumer through the cooking process, making it foolproof. When it is time to eat, the drawers tuck away beneath the table. Rendez-vous breaks down barriers in the home, creating the perfect space for gathering, cooking and eating.

GINA Light Visionary Model

BMW's GINA (Geometry and Functions in 'N' Adaptations ) Light Visionary Model is a new concept car that uses plastic-coated lycra fabric, stretched over the car's metal frame.The skin and skeleton can bend and contract like, well, real skin and skeleton. The car is based off a 4.4-liter Z8 with a six-speed mechanical diffusion.

Schulte Design has unveiled a concept for the Kitchen Workstation. This designer furniture piece combines the cooking and dining experience. It offers you a place to store your laptop and other accessories. Dubbed as ‘Workstation 1,’ this smart creation by Franz-Josef Schulte features a milk glass panel , a paper along with a document tray.

Izona CookSurface

Designed by Fisher and Paykel, the Izona CookSurface features a radical design. The CookSurface represents an entirely new way of looking at gas cooking and improving the user experience, a revolutionary combination of gas and ceramic technology. A flush, seamless black ceramic glass is the backdrop from where burners emerge for cooking and retract when no longer required. When the cooktop is not in use it has the visual discreteness of a ceramic surface, yet once functioning, it offers the power and functionality of gas cooking.

Corvette Z03

Dutch design house “Ugur Sahin Design” is showing off a concept Corvette Z03, modeled after Corvette Z06.

According to “Ugur Sahin Design”, the Corvette Z03 features a series of mechanical upgrades including three engine packages which range from 500 to 750 HP. The Dutch company plans to put the Corvette Z03 into a limited edition run of 100 units by the end of the year.

Designer Fred de Garilhe is showing off a concept for LV USB Design, ultra luxurious USB gadgets created in white or yellow gold.

Eclipse A V-tail concept!

Eclipse Aviation's new Eclipse Concept Jet (ECJ) is a single-engine turbofan powered, V-tail aircraft. The ECJ will cruise at 345 knots with a service ceiling of 41,000 feet, yet needs no more than 2,200 feet of runway to take off or land. The aircraft's range is estimated to be 1,250 nautical miles. A unique element of the ECJ's aerodynamic design is its empennage, which features an external mounted engine pod and V-Tail vertical surfaces that create exceptional aerodynamic, weight, and operational benefits.

75m Motor Yacht by Humpreys Yacht Design

Humpreys Yacht Design has unveiled a concept for a 75m Motor Yacht concept developed for Devonport Yacht.

Humphreys 75 incorporates a fully glazed atrium spanning the entire width of the yacht, providing a heating/cooling system. Surrounded by automatically operated louvers, solar exposure into the atrium space is optimized to allow the sun's rays to enter the yacht in cool climates, trapping the heat behind thermally efficient glass.

Designer Danilo Mangini has presented a concept for a new media player called the Lobster . The Lobster is composed of an LCD screen that acts as a base for a multitude of media modules. By snapping those modules on, you further extend the Lobster's features.

Jaguar C-XF concept

Jaguar Design has unveiled the Jaguar C-XF concept .
