Director Wes Anderson's latest film, The Darjeeling Limited, revolves around three brothers' journey through India carrying their dead father's luggage designed by Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton reports ELLE. The monogrammed steamer trunks, duffels, and suitcases play an integral role in the film and were specially designed by Vuitton using aged calfskin, velvet lining, and a jungle pattern created by Anderson's brother, Eric. The brothers also wear Vuitton-designed suits throughout the film. The luggage is to be auctioned off, with proceeds going to UNICEF and the Rawal Mallinathji Foundation, a medical treatment charity in India chosen by Anderson-hardly excess baggage.

Sotheby's will offer the Magna Carta from Billionaire Ross Perot's foundation for as much as $30 million in New York in mid-December, Bloomberg reports.
The document, which laid the foundations for English political and civil liberties in 1215, was on loan to the National Archives in Washington, said Sotheby's spokesman Matthew Weigman, in a telephone interview. The 2,500-word document is the only one in the U.S. and was bought by Perot in 1984 for $1.5 million, the New York Times reported earlier.
Perot's foundation will use the funds for medical research, public education and other programs, the Times said, citing an employee of the foundation.
