The Leap chair was developed based on the findings of four years of research, 27 scientists, 11 studies and 732 test participants. Out of this research came important discoveries about how people sit, leading to advanced seating technology. The Leap chair's back moves as your back moves. Its arms move as your arms move. Its seat moves as your seat moves. It's the first chair that actually changes shape to mimic and support the movement of your spine.

The 2008 Pritzker Prize winner explores his career to date
The work of France's most unique and internationally celebrated contemporary architect in a book designed by the master himself. Limited to 1,000 signed and numbered copies packaged in a translucent plexiglass slipcase especially designed by Jean Nouvel for this edition.
Recipient of the 2008 Pritzker Prize, Jean Nouvel is without any doubt France’s most original and important contemporary architect. From 1967 to 1970, he was an assistant of the influential architects Claude Parent and Paul Virilio, then creating his own office in Paris. His first widely acclaimed project was the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris (1981–87, with Architecture Studio). Since then he has completed the Lyon Opera House (1986–93), the Euralille Shopping Center, Lille (1991–94), and the Fondation Cartier, Paris (1991–94). His major completed projects since 2000 include the Culture and Convention Center in Lucerne, Switzerland (1998–2000), the spectacular Agbar Tower on Barcelona’s Diagonal Avenue (2001–03), the extension of the Reina Sofia Museum, (Madrid, 1999–2005), the Quai Branly Museum on the Seine in Paris (2001–06), and the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Apart from receiving this year’s Pritzker Prize, Jean Nouvel won the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Gold Medal in 2001.
Jean Nouvel worked for five years with author Philip Jodidio on this prodigiously illustrated TASCHEN monograph, a book that will finally give the full measure of the architect’s talent. Two 400-page hardcover volumes give the most complete overview to date of Jean Nouvel’s career, including works in progress, such as the new Louvre in Abu Dhabi, the Philharmonie de Paris, and the extension of the MoMA in New York. The book’s graphic design and images were conceived and selected by the architect; in addition, the transparent printed dust jackets mimic the architect’s own tendency to play with contrasts and overlaid patterns. One can truly say that this publication is Nouvel by Nouvel, inside and out.
With the new Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder, Lamborghini has created a driving experience like absolutely no other – fascinating design, breathtaking performance and extreme handling characteristics come together with all the sensual intensity and open-air pleasure that only a soft top super sports car can deliver.
An even more powerful engine, permanent all-wheel drive and an all-new chassis mean that the Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder offers yet another significant increase in performance against its predecessor. With its innovative design, the new LP 560-4 Spyder takes the unique Lamborghini styling ethic to the next level; the Spyder displays this powerful and elegant design language with even greater distinctiveness, making it all the more unmistakable.
The Gallardo LP 560-4 has been on the market since early 2008, as the successor to the most successful Lamborghini of all time – since 2003, more than 8,500 models bearing the Gallardo name have left the production facility in Sant’Agata Bolognese. “The LP 560-4 is the next step in a huge success story,” says Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. “With the Spyder, we are now unveiling a car that is, quite simply, a new dimension in the latest Gallardo range. It is an entirely new model, whilst building on the substantial technical and design attributes of the Gallardo LP560-4 production strategy. The new Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder is a simply breathtaking automobile – and utterly unparalleled in its commitment to extreme motoring.”
In its new generation, the Gallardo Spyder represents more than ever before automotive passion in its purest form. As in the Coupé, its enormous power is delivered by the new 5.2 litre V10 with an output of 560 hp (412 kW) at 8,000 rpm. The increase in 40 hp (29 kW) over its predecessor, as well as the 44 pound (20 kilogram) reduction in vehicle weight, improves the power-to-weight ratio to 6.10 pounds (2.77 kg) per hp, thus improving performance even further.
The LP 560-4 Spyder takes only 4.0 seconds to sprint from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h), reaching 124 mph (0 to 200 km/h) in only 13.1 seconds and going on to a top speed of 201 mph (324 km/h). The new driveline, featuring the “Iniezione Diretta Stratificata” direct fuel injection system also makes for impressive efficiency. Despite the considerable increase in performance, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions have been reduced by a staggering 18 percent.
Engineers at the Ufficio Tecnico Lamborghini, Sant’Agata-based Technical Department, have also improved traction, handling and stability at high speeds. The redesigned four-wheel drive transmission, the new suspension, the improved stiffness of the Spyder bodyshell and the optimised aerodynamics all contribute to the overall improvements in the vehicle, as do the reduced weight and decreased friction throughout the components.
Thus the Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder presents itself as a razor-sharp super sports car with the precision reactions of a high-performance athlete. The car is also surprisingly suited to long-distance driving and, despite its extreme performance capabilities, is easy to control whilst maintaining utmost stability. Above all, the impressive Lamborghini technology takes on a new, intense edge in the Spyder, with the glorious feel of the open air rushing by.
Vertu’s Constellation Diamonds phones feature diamonds along the edge. The phones feature one hundred and seventy brilliant cut diamonds totaling 0.75 carats encircling the phone around the edge. HAGGADAH SPECIAL EDITION is richly illustrated by Gerard Garouste, a leading name in contemporary French painting. Garouste’s illustrations are inspired by the historic stories told in the Haggadah, written by Marc-Alain Ouaknin, professor and author of several books on Judaism.
But Haggadah is more than a book, it is a practical guide that follows the order of the Seder ceremony. This edition includes all the instructions in English and Hebrew text necessary to carry out a successful celebration in the traditional atmosphere of the event, and invites celebrants to challenge their intelligence, taste and spirituality.
The Haggadah is the text for the Jewish ceremonial dinner, known as the Seder, which takes place on the first night of Passover. The festival commemorates one of the fundamental moments of Jewish history: the end of bondage in Egypt and the Exodus over 3,500 years ago.

After their first expedition to Greenland in July 2008 and a dinner orchestrated by two-star chef Sylvestre Wahid on an iceberg adrift in the middle of the Sermilik fjord, the House of G.H. MUMM and adventurer Mike Horn are off again, this time to Antarctica alongside three Michelin-star Gérard Boyer, following in the wake of Captain Charcot, whose expedition the House backed a century earlier. Iceberg, Charcot Bay, in the north of the Antarctic peninsula: on 27 October 2008, G.H. MUMM and South African adventurer Mike Horn celebrated the beauty of the planet at the very spot where, on 14 July 1904, Captain Charcot’s crew celebrated their first steps taken on the white continent by cracking open a bottle of Mumm Cordon Rouge. A few hours earlier, three-star Chef Gérard Boyer, who ran the restaurant of the Château les Crayères for nearly 20 years, gave a gourmet dinner as a tribute to that page in the house’s history. In the centre of the volcano on Deception Island, south of the Shetlands, he prepared the following menu featuring a South African variation on the truffle and caviar themes.
Rustic Argentinean potatoes on a bed of Uruguayan caviar
G.H.MUMM Cordon Rouge
Scrambled eggs with Richerence black truffles
G.H.MUMM Millésimé 1999
Merluza negra, a fish from the Antarctic depths (- 1200 m) caught by hook, with Champagne sauce,
served with leeks and black truffles
