    Douglas Laing 20 cl Old Malt Cask Whiskey

    Replicating the sample bottles sent from stock held at the Distilleries – Douglas Laing's wee 20cl bottles appear to have been hand written by one of the team pulling the sample (full marks for legibility!). These bottles allow you to taste a small amount before investing in the larger bottle.

    Fifty or so artists with a different sensibility and a common determination: to be free of the bourgeois morality and its obsolete traditions. To break with the classicism of the Austro-Hungarian Empire on its decline. The Vienna Secession, founded in 1897, would shape a distinctive form of art in Vienna and all over the world. Gustav Klimt paints his own dreams; poet Hugo Hofmannsthal pens librettos for composer Richard Strauss; Otto Wagner and Josef Hoffman invent design; compatriot Sigmund Freud studies the interpretation of dreams; the young Egon Schiele studies painting and drawing. It’s from this atmosphere of artistic, intellectual, and political effervescence that a world is born, notably through the search of a global art which evokes more particularly this wander through the Vienna of 1900.

    Natalie Portman’s New York Condo For Sale

    Actress Natalie Portman is selling her apartment in Manhattan’s West Village for $6,550,000. According to New York Post, Portman’s two-bedroom unit in the Richard Meier-designed, glass tower at 165 Charles Street in the West Village features a dining room that can be converted into a third bedroom, three full baths and views in three directions.

    Samsung Electronics and Giorgio Armani are set to launch the 46 - and 52-inch full HD TV Armani / PAVV TV in Korea. The Armani/PAVV TV supports DNIePro (Digital Natural Image engine +) chipset, WiseLink, InfoLink and 120Hz Auto Plus Motion technologies.

    The luxury LCD TV will come in 46 inch for 6,990,000 Korean won ($7,000) and 52 inch for 8,690,000 Korean won ($8,750).

As of mid-September, 2008, the Cocktail Macaroons will be available for purchase exclusively at Payard Pâtisserie & Bistro in New York and for national holiday gift shipment at www.payard.com.

    With each box of macaroons, Grand Marnier® will provide the consumer with the drink recipes which inspired the Cocktail Macaroons.     Juan-Domingo “Dobel” Beckmann, has announced Maestro Dobel, the first-ever diamond tequila. Unlike any other aged tequila, Maestro Dobel is a diamond-clear spirit – a result of a proprietary blending and filtration technique.



    Standing alone in the category, Maestro Dobel is a luxurious silver tequila with the complexity of an aged spirit. This exceptional blend of three tequilas can be judged, like a diamond, by four C’s:

    Clarity: The proprietary filtering system used by Maestro Dobel gently expels congeners and colors from the tequila, producing the “Diamond Clarity” without having an affect on aroma, flavor or complexity.

    Complexity: The incredible complexity of Maestro Dobel stems from the incredible array of differently aged tequilas in the blend: Reposado (rested 15 months), Anejo (rested 24 months), and Extra-Anejo (rested for 36 months).
