Rap mogul, 37, P Diddy was throwing an A-list yacht party in St Tropez when Kimberly Stewart , 27, decided to play a practical joke.

Rod Stewart's daughter decided to take Diddy's Maybach limo – worth £350k - for a spin to Cannes with a pal.

But the joke fell flat. A concerned Diddy stopped partying to look for his prized motor reports NOW.

'Diddy did not see the funny side at first,' says a source. 'He had no idea it was a practical joke. He thought it was stolen.

'He had his flunkies on a wild goose chase looking all over the place for his car - it's his baby.'
The car was returned to Diddy the next morning.
