According to a Billboard article, Microsoft's new GM of Marketing for MSN Entertainment Business, Chris Stephenson, says that Microsoft will launch Zune later this year. Zune will be the umbrella brand for a family of software and hardware products that will target various digital entertainment services.
Billboard confirms that "additional Zune-branded devices will follow, including a portable video player and, potentially, a portable game device," as well as an initial device offering WiFi and drive-based storage.
